Meg Pierce is a professional artist with art degrees from Columbia University and Pratt Institute where she received an MFA in painting. She has shown widely in the NYC area and has now moved her studio to Towles Court in Sarasota.

Her work now is focused on complex and sensitive mixed media work. Intricate constructions use buttons, stamps, scotch tape, maps, bottle caps, old photos. They are arranged in orderly grids or circles. The painstaking work is painted in oils or acrylic creating personal and evocative artworks that awaken emotions and memories.
